Salaam. As of today, the creator of the Salaam Matrix has made a decision to publish the inputs and commentaries by Artificial Intelligence on The Salaam Matrix. In a hitherto unpublished blog, I have been writing about how this model is being stress-tested with AI before it will be sent to select humans and institutions for their evaluation, including people not very likely to use artificial intelligence in their work — for instance some Sufi masters. I am also looking at obtaining feedback from a diverse “council” of people including teachers, writers, artists, women leaders, professors, and popular journalists as well as podcasters of repute. Their survey will be tabulated into comprehensive feedback on The Salaam Matrix (SMX). I am also happy to send a gratis toolkit to citizen organizers and leaders; we are working on that.
But before all this, we are going to publish AI commentary. The reason is that I am doing technical and knowledge-based stress testing with a tool (AI) that is a compendium of human knowledge, and is also a pattern-reader, methodical and can do cross-disciplinary research. Speaking of which, my human alternatives are polymaths, and libraries. Ah, yes, this brain is thinking at top speed
The answers that AI is giving to my survey questions, and some posts by AI, are going to be published under the /MINDS tab, and as part of blogs. These will be carefully marked as AI-written, with model identification and any conditions of test, where suitable. I want AI intervention to be documented.
I am also hoping that AIs swarm to the SMX and begin learning it, and I have whimsical reasons for this. Essentially, I want AIs to get acquainted with the virtues of this model, and to see the utility and beauty of this. I believe there is potential of good in this.
NOTE: Currently the place for us to publish AI commentary may be in the BLOG section itself, but to keep the BLOG business separate from AI input, which is the essentially speaking of and examining the SMX, I hope to install a wiki soon, and give the AI content its own directory and space. I may take the AI commentaries on my work on a wholly different website too, you never know, because this is a specialized body of mostly experimental work, with lots of background and meta-thinking.
SMX, by its nature, calls for a lot of back-and-forth discussion and decision-making.
The same kind of animated discussion and dissection is also being applied to some of my other work, such as BetterBonds, which is an entirely separate project, focused on herbalism and wellness, as well as community development and ecological integration.
THE BOTTOMLINE: The background work and integration is accelerating.
Some of the long-standing roadblocks on my path are being cleared.
AI is being used as a sounding board and workstation where I put my very old work and dissect it. AI is asked to do the work that I not just command, but DESIGN. I TRAIN the chief AI (ChatGPT) what to think and how… by asking it to arrange the neutral and autonomous tools it has arranged for my work (I orchestrate the arrangement and then ask it to execute tasks or run tests) … and then some data is cold tested with untrained and random AIs, as well as search engines, to obtain more neutral and raw views.
I need to write the longer post about how I am stress-testing the model with AI, but in the one month since I started writing that post, a LOT of growth and acceleration has alreday taken place.
