This is a page about the SAFETY requirements of using or deploying the Salaam Matrix and its components.

Since the Salaam Matrix is both an introspection and a data capture tool, we deem it prudent to carefully lay down the rules for its situational use and define the boundaries and parameters for the safety of the people. Other aspects of ‘safety’ include a timed and finite usage or deployment or otherwise defining the boundaries and scope of model, so that a better and clearer usage can be made without cognitive confusion and conflict.

An unbounded deployment can create multiple issues, including budget and time allocation challenges, stakeholder and participant confusion, and the poor assignment of roles, values, tasks as well as lack of clarity about deliberations and data capture.

These issues are minimized through DEFINING THE RULES and SCHEMAS, as well as SCOPING the tool itself, and its run and deployment.

We are also considering such aspects as building a CONTAINMENT for the tool, especially and if it is engaged for BIG DATA uses, such as in government programs.

We also believe that we need to define the ETHICAL INTENT & SCOPE of this tool.

All these, and more, are henceforth being addressed under a dedicated SAFETY node.
