SMX x Community

SMX x Community is a “world” of The Salaam Matrix (SMX). Worlds are defined are domains of use of the Matrix, and the offerings within a ‘world’ are tailored to specific uses. The SMX x Community world focuses on healthy, cooperative, and growth-oriented Communities (online, offline, locality-focused, interest-focused) that work together to identify community-centric objectives, goals, needs, and duties that the members can be held accountable for and become part of. Community work is a pressing need of our times, and articulating collective objectives and working to obtain them improve communities and keep them safer while growing and meeting their objectives.

This WORLD focuses on collective work by a community that shares the process. For individual households and families seeking to determine their own growth paths and unique objectives, explore the SMX x Family world. For individual work, SMX x You! is the world.

SMX x Community

Increasingly in our current world, we are realizing the need for Community around common features and values. This ‘WORLD’ addresses the needs and wants of Communities—be that location proximity-based, interest-based, or concern-based. The tools, maps and guides in the COMMUNITY ‘world’ have purpose-built kits you can purchase in order to work on common concerns and aspirations with your group/community, which is defined as a non-commercial organization of people. The COMMUNITY kits focus on collective themes, explorations, tasks and decisions. From building green spaces to deciding how to take turns keeping the neighborhood children safe, this is where you find the tools!

To thrive and survive in the very demanding and ever shifting 21st Century, humans as persons and families have to step out of our silos and begin creating collectives and communities. These can be based around our interests and concerns, or our location and proximity.

Already under way across the world, community formation and cooperation is now being seen as a viable structure even in societies where individualism has been rife or life has run on autopilot or based out of traditional and inherited templates, instead of on-going, fresh examination of our values, methods and needs and their viability and sustainability. The modern human, fed on extensive and paradoxical global data, needs to funnel this and work in groups to prioritize goals, aspirations and needs, and then chalk out an actionable strategy.

The Salaam Matrix gives communities an extensive and comprehensive template, aspects of which can be customized for use cases and needs. It is important, also, to remember that while the Matrix has Four Life Zones, not all instances of use need to work through all the Four Zones, and custom plug-and-play modules and kits allow communities to focus on chosen areas and objectives—for example, focusing on the Socioeconomic and Ecological-Political Zones only.

Further understand of how the Zones can be “switched off and on” can be obtained by studying the developing thematic of Six Geometric Readings of the Four Lize Zones. These readings show that specific Zones can be isolated for targeted work. Additionally, the Shadow and the Ghost variants allow for object-oriented work on areas of concern and neglect.

The offerings in this World will be available on this page shortly, Insha’Allah.
