Something significant has happened! And this has led to the spontaneous birth of the most valuable, in my view, application module of the Salaam Matrix in the form of a whole alternative template itself, The Shadow Salaam Matrix. This is a telling and reading of the Matrix and therefore the human civilization through the lens that sees all that is problematic, fragmented, painful, unsustainable and dark. This is what is left in the coffee filter when the civilization is sieved through it, and it is also the identification of the start of darkness when it is not yet distinct and identifiable.

The Shadow Salaam Matrix is the most significant, mind-opening (and eye-opening) development in the history of the Salaam Matrix since its birth in the 2005-06 era.

Witnessing the undeniable fragmentation and pain in the world, it has occurred to me recently that instead of using the Original Salaam Matrix template, and using it to determine whether the Life Zones, and Roles are functioning well, and are being played in a way that is cohesive, clean, life-giving and sustainable or not… how about we isolate the darkness, the Shadow aspects of being human, and give them their own schema, their matrix, their world?

That template, The Shadow Salaam Matrix, compels and permits a frank, no-holds barred examination of all that is broken, hurting, dangerous, life-taking, painful and maybe even criminal in the world. It allows the stakeholders to become aware where they aren’t, or to express themselves vocally and clearly
