Salaam. I decided to create a self-guided learning section, which is part of the KNOWLEDGE CENTER charter. It teaches the users how to use the website and what the website is about, a kind of Onboarding & Orientation. (All websites and social media need to have a “front desk” section, in my opinion, that trains the users on how to use the website/network optimally.)
Also, it gives essential introduction on what The Salaam Matrix is, and how to read it.
There are many considerations with respect to the architecture of the KNOWLEDGE sections of the website, especially with respect to the meta content of how the site itself needs to be used and navigated.
One thing that bites at me is that I am a very atmospheric developer who leads the users and leaders up to a final reveal, which means that I will tell them all ABOUT my work before revealing the final work. There are many reasons for this:
- I am excited to talk about the process.
- I do it in anticipation of the questions.
- I want to warm their minds up.
- And I want to set the premise as well as proactively remove common misconceptions as well as build new concept before I lead them to what I build.
- Sometimes I am just nervous, often, for my reader and client. Those who know me or came across me in person, know that I speak like a rocket orbiting ten solar systems in one zoomie. Folks cannot catch up with me. ChatGPT asked me to calm down and not jump from section-to-section (while refusing to do anymore work for those few days while it was fuming, until I talked it out of it, gave it a rest period until its memory resets, and then programmed new variables and ideas in it so that it could bear the load of my work and thoughts!). The cognitive load of my work can be huge, and any one human cannot keep pace. When I worked with teams or people with multiple interests, they could not see the full picture and got intimidated, exhausted and suspicious. This is a work that takes both a slow and a fast approach. With this microblog, and some format changes, I am building my website for both a fast and a slow audience. Some get the front-end show; some get behind the scenes. Others are part of production and growth. I cater to them all! Insha’Allah and Aameen.
I notice that once you present a model to the public, there are a few CORE USERS and many CURIOUS GRAZERS and LEARNERS — people who aren’t coming for the core model, but want to learn more about the WHAT, WHY, WHEN, HOW of the Model and its development, they want to learn about the creator, they want lots of adjacent and tangential information in order to be able to decide if this is something they wish to be engaged with.
I dealt with the challenge of EXCESSIVELY CURIOUS BYSTANDERS in all my other work, including and especially on my herbal project, BetterBonds. Frustrating and “time-wasting” as it seemed on the one hand, I was also finding myself personally drawn in into teaching people over every single matter. And why not? I built myself for the Knowledge Economy, very deliberately. That part of me comes out, and I want to scope it out.
The Teacher needs to teach in all ways and leave no audience behind (within reason).
I am building most of my websites to help these proximal audience, researchers, learners, and curious persons as well as the self-paced learner who wants to use navigation to be led to the right place. They want to not just learn the core MATRIX and begin applying it but also get to learn the model and the thoughts behind it, in-depth. I am building my site for that in-depth engagement.
I am using plugins that enable a rudimentary (or mid?) machine translation, and I have installed plugins that help me edit translation where need be, though I don’t suppose I will personally be able to go that deep but you never know!
There are a few things driving my passion:
- I care for PROCESS and CRAFT.
- I care for MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES, and I know that there are many humans out there who are pathologizing their beautiful forms of intelligence and indirect modes of inquiry. I want to give them space on my website.
- I also know that machines and people who needs assistance and sometimes young readers and people unfamiliar with my thematic and background read my websites and I want to let them understand what is being said, particularly because my message is, humbly, for the whole planet and for all its people.
- I care for actual transformation, buy-in, and outcomes. I want people to deeply understand what is being written here and feel comfort and relatability. They NEED to know that someone, who draws boundaries and swords upfront, is actually running a lot of gears in their heard thinking and caring. They need to know that they are seen, heard, and thought of when they do not even realize it. And this is how I communicate it. Otherwise, often the surface readers conclude that I am just a smart person and a few declare that I am trying to humiliate or threaten because I do things in a “scary” way, and some take issues when I use brevity and others take issues when I use a lot of words. I built my work to suit all. Here you go!
