This is the GUARDIANSHIP node of the Salaam Matrix.
The Salaam Matrix is defined as an integral model of Guardianship and Governance, rooted in in the Islamic codex. The Guardian and the Governor are the duo that run this Matrix, whereas the focus of the Guardian figurehead is on nurture, care, spirit and mercy, and the focus of the Governor figurehead is on boundaries, structures, maintenance, accountability and justice.
The Guardian tends to focus on the inner and ‘software’ aspects of the system, the mindset, the programs, the maintenance, the diversity, the neurology and neuropathy, the process, the need and the nuance. The Governor focuses on the ‘hardware’ aspects, the policies, the rules, the outcome, the delivery and the form.
The author of The Salaam Matrix, Ramala Hubb’Allah, chose the image of the ‘Gardener/Farmer’ to represent the Guardian figure. This borrows from rich metaphorical traditions. The Gardener metaphor is complex and multifaceted, as it pertains to planting, maintaining, pruning, possibly fertilizing, designing, cutting down, shapeshifting (change the composition of), harvesting from, and enjoying a garden.
This page will publish the extended GUARDIAN part of the Salaam Matrix codex. This subject is presented in isolation due to it being a core intent of the application of The Salaam Matrix. A detailed codex is under development. At this point, the introduction to the codex is available as part of Beginner’s Guide to Reading The Salaam Matrix.
